“There’s a million things I haven’t done, but a felted Hamilton isn’t one.”

The hit musical Hamilton is coming to Pittsburgh on New Years, so this latest commission was timed perfectly.

This Christmas commission for a Hamilton fan was designed to look like a Funko Pop figure. You know…those big, square-headed plastic knick-knacks everyone’s going nuts over? The recipient is a Funko Pop collector and, as of yet, there is no official Funko Pop Hamilton figure. Enter Feltco Pop by yours truly.

If you’re that one person on the planet who hasn’t seen any promo images from this hit, Broadway musical, here’s the photo of Lin-Manuel Miranda I used for costume reference. (Photo copyright to whoever takes these beautiful Hamilton promo shots)

I’m told the gift went over big Christmas morning and was a preamble to the recipient getting Hamilton tickets. Lucky kid must’ve been on the “nice” list.

If Santa didn’t bring you any high-priced Hamilton tickets, consider this: a hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind Hamilton feltie from an enterprising local creative might make a more affordable alternative. 😃

I hope everyone had a great holiday! Happy New Year!
